A legendary cut above the rest The Asscher brothers from Amsterdam had already been asked by King Edward VII to cut the 530-carat Cullinan diamond. So people paid attention when Abraham and Joseph introduced their variation on the popular emerald cushion cut at the turn of the 20thcentury.
